We understand Reiki to be the "universal life force energy" - the limitless "life force" without which life, as we know it, would not exist - which heals on all levels.

We acknowledge that Reiki is the healer, and recognize that Reiki practitioners are vehicles who, through training, are enabled to share this energy with others, and also care for themselves.

We recognize that Reiki Masters make a life commitment to the practice of Reiki, and to supporting students and practitioners. They also make a life commitment to the unique connection with those Masters whom they train and initiate.

We are committed to the enhancement of practice and teaching standards.

We offer support and community for members of the Organization and encourage the sharing of knowledge and skill within the Organization.

Central to our philosophy is the core commitment to treat oneself with Reiki each day to facilitate our healing and spiritual development, and to live according to the Precepts laid down by Mikao Usui. Through this life commitment, we are better able to facilitate the healing of others.
